When your roof in Belleville starts leaking after one of Michigan’s 70-mph storm gusts, you don’t want to wait three weeks for an out-of-area contractor to swing by. Belleville is about 28 miles southwest of our shop at 14564 Schaefer Hwy in Detroit — roughly 35 minutes via the Southfield Freeway (M-39) to I-94 west and the Belleville Road exit. We cover the whole Metro Detroit area, and we’re one of the established roofing companies you can call when something happens to your roof tonight.
For 20+ years we’ve been replacing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial roofs across Metro Detroit. We’re veteran-owned and family-run. The crew that quotes your roof is the crew you’ll see on it. And if you get a written quote from another licensed roofer in the Belleville area, we’ll beat it — guaranteed.
The City of Belleville itself is tiny — barely more than a square mile on the south shore of Belleville Lake, completely surrounded by Van Buren Township. Inside the city you get an older, tighter housing stock: early-20th-century frame houses and Craftsman bungalows on small lots near Main Street, plus mid-century ranches and a set of newer infill homes and condominiums closer to the water. Out in the surrounding township, which shares the same mailing address, the picture flips to 1970s-through-2000s subdivision colonials, ranches and two-story homes on larger parcels. The lake is the thing that changes the roofing. Homes with lake exposure take unobstructed wind off the water, so ridge caps, rake edges and starter courses need proper fastening rather than the minimum. Waterfront and near-water lots also stay humid, which accelerates algae streaking and moss on north-facing slopes and rots fascia and gutter board faster than inland streets. Add the mature hardwoods along the older city blocks and the Huron River corridor, and valleys clog fast.
We work on these exact homes every week:
If your home is in the 48111 ZIP code, there’s a good chance we’ve already done a roof on your block — note that 48111 covers a much wider area than the small City of Belleville, taking in most of Van Buren Township and part of Sumpter Township, and we work throughout all of it.
Southeast Michigan storm seasons are getting more aggressive. Most seasons bring at least one round of 60 to 70 mph wind gusts and hail across the area. Wind lifts and tears shingles. Hail leaves invisible bruises that turn into leaks two storms later. Then ice dams in February finish the job.
When you call after a storm, we’ll:
We’ve been doing storm response across Metro Detroit long enough that local insurance adjusters know our work.
All work comes with our 10-year labor warranty on top of the manufacturer’s shingle warranty.
We work across all of Belleville, with most of our recent jobs concentrated in or around:
We also work near landmarks like Belleville Lake and the French Landing Dam that created it, the Belleville Area Museum in the 1875 Old Township Hall on Main Street, Van Buren Park off the I-94 South Service Drive, and Willow Run Airport. Van Buren Public Schools serves the City of Belleville along with Van Buren Township and part of Sumpter Township, so the district reaches far beyond the small city limits. School families across the district make up a big share of our local customer base.
We also serve the adjacent communities of Van Buren Township, Sumpter Township, Romulus and Canton Township — so if friends or family nearby need roof work, you can refer with confidence.
